My father was arrested and charged. He would have spent the rest of his life in prison if he got convicted. His boss and everybody else believed in him and knew he wouldn’t do such a thing. We hired Tom Carter to defend him. My Dad was held without bond until Tom was able to get him house arrest. It was very important that my Dad not sit in jail for months and we were very thankful that the appeals court released him pending trial. Tom then hired two great detectives who uncovered the truth – that my Dad’s accuser had lied to the Police about her previous relationship with my Dad. Tom uncovered DNA evidence which Tom shared with the prosecutor. My Dad’s accuser finally admitted that she’d lied since DNA evidence doesn’t lie. The prosecutor had no case and had to drop the charges. Our family was reunited. My Dad returned to work instead of spending the rest of his life in jail. We owe Tom everything for believing my Dad, getting him out on bond, uncovering his accuser’s lies and getting the prosecutor to drop the charges."
