Shochet Law Group

This firm was hired by my insurance adjuster for a roof claim I had in 2018 from a hurricane. Exactly 4 years later, the case was finally settled in the most dismissive way only after I had to threaten Dan Norton (hired lawyer of this group) that I would report them to the Florida BAR for lack of communication and overlook from their part over my case. Needless to say I am still waiting for my settlement check, which I would not be surprised if it took another 4 years to receive. If you are looking for someone dependable that really does care about you and your needs, DO NOT CALL THIS FIRM. They are the absolute worst. Every time you call they have someone new answering their phones and no one ever knows anything about any file. I had another insurance claim for another issue in my home and I was smart enough to hire another firm and that case was settled in less than 3 months. This firm is so bad, that they actually tried to settle the wrong claim that wasnt even theirs to begin with. This place is a complete circus and I plan on reporting them to the FL BAR.

Same experience as other reviewers. NO communication for 2 years when I did hear from him he was a completely unprofessional. I did not hire him as he was retained through a public adjuster. I will be filing a complaint with the florida bar
