Extremely unprofessional experience. I first contacted Lora Pickar through LegalEase on July 2nd for estate planning since our home closing was scheduled for October. She promised to send me a questionnaire to begin the process — but I never received any email or call. I followed up in August, and while she instantly answered the phone and claimed she was "wide open" for a Monday call, she never returned my call. Only after I sent a message on August 30th requesting she be removed from my case did she finally respond — with an email essentially excusing herself from the matter. For reference, here is her reply: "It would perhaps be best for you if LegalEase removed me from your case so that another attorney could handle your matter more expeditiously. I will contact LegalEase by phone to be removed and I would suggest you do the same so that LegalEase can quickly re-list your matter. I do sincerely apologize for my delay in responding to you. With best wishes, Lora Pickar" If you are looking for someone dependable to handle estate planning — do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. She repeatedly pushed me toward a "simple will," even though I clearly needed broader estate planning support. This wasted my time and delayed my process unnecessarily.
