If you want to spend 50% more time behind bars than what the prosecution asked for, don't care if your attorney delivers a quality defense, or really want the prosecution to win, this is your guy! I was a victim of a heinous crime committed by his client, and let me tell you if the evidence wasn't enough for a conviction, jake drove the final nail in the coffin for his clients conviction. He tried to blame hormones and drugs on a "temporary psychosis" without anything to back it up, dismissed my statement completely, did a half hearted objection to the prosecutors statement and then got BODIED by the response and basically told to sit down. While he was demeaning and diminishing my statement, he chuckled and refused to make eye contact with me and wouldn't make eye contact at all as he left the court room with his tail between his legs. Defense attorneys are VITAL to a functioning society and this is not a function defense attorney. Incredibly poorly spoken, he looked like it was maybe his second case with his lack of confidence or conviction. If you want someone without a spine that won't actually defend you, Jakey WILL make that happen.

Very well spoken and thorough with his communication. Calm demeanor and knowledgeable. He was appointed to me due to a conflict with my co-defendant and the public defenders office. For me, I believe he's for the people and would recommend him to anyone that needs criminal representation.

He's very understanding, confident and positive. He is a man of his word. He don't judge you . I feel very comfortable talking to him. He helped out my husband in right path and was able to get parole officer to put my husband in ankle monitor so he could be home

Hired Jacob to defend my criminal case because of his confidence compared to others I interviewed. Have to admit got a little nervous couple times cuz he's not a call you every day type. But when I called him he was always way ahead of me. Long story short..he does the leg work and delivers. In court for 3 mins and walked out w/ no further reqs*dismissed).Highly recommend

Highly recommended that you do not listen to these other idiots! Jake is the most professional attorney I have ever dealt with. He will walk into the court room and gets noticed and recognized. Court officials even state how "good of a man he is and you can't expect that from many people in this day in age." All matters are handled in a timely manner. Keep in mind that he is an attorney and represents multiple individuals. I would never even consider to recommend or consult with any attorney other than him. As for the cost, I really encourage people to call other attorneys or lawyers and see what they charge.... He is very reasonable and is always on your side. I would give him more than 5 stars if possible. He is the man to go to with any type of legal need you may have!
