I think this is a review that needs to be posted for others like myself! Robert Montefusco Law Group had served me in a moment of need, or should I say, when I needed someone to get me out of a disaster I found myself in, due to a incompetent attorney that misrepresented me for 3 years running prior. I finally had to stop the bleeding. I had enough of her poorly representing me! I didn't realize how bad she was until I witnessed how good Mr. Montefusco is! It was a completely different experience. She did not communicate with me at all throughout my experience with her. The only communication I had with her firm, was through the billing department. Overall she charged me more than $45,000.00 and I lost every appeal with the court! Robert looked at what had happened prior to him taking the case, and gently explained that what she did really hurt my case. He never once said anything condescending about her but I was able to read between the lines. When I decided to have Robert represent me at trial, we had less than three weeks to prepare. He worked into late at night, several nights and we ended up getting all our documents we needed together for the trial. We went to court, I watched him represent me and I was in awe of his grasp on questioning the witness, (my ex) and watched his performance in the courtroom. He took complete control of the room, and I believe their was nobody that could have done a better job than Mr. Montefusco! So I say, thank you so much for giving me confidence back in the legal system! My divorce was just finalized a week ago. It took just over 2years. The stress, the sadness, the uncertainty is beyond words. With that said i want to share with you my experience with Robert and his staff. Robert was refered to me by a childhood friend who is a PI attorney. My friend told me you better call Robert before she does or you'll be toast. Best decision. Robert fought for me as if we were family. Throughout this whole ordeal he was a constant source of information as well as generally caring about me as a client as well as me as a person. Any questions or concerns were always taken care of with grace, confidence and a plan as to whats next. I cant say enough how much that is needed during this process. STOP! Do Not Look Any Further! Robert is your man! I have been dealing with my ex and her family literally since my son was born in 2011 and them trying relentlessly to get full custody of him. After the first three court fights with a different attorney and trying to appease demands and doing what was best for my son, that still was not good enough. During my 3rd court fight in 2018, I reached out to Robert because I realized this was not going to stop. Even though I had another attorney at the time, I placed a retainer with Robert as well. I knew I would need someone more aggressive for a bigger fight that would come in the future. I wanted Robert to be familiar with my case and to plan for it. Well, that 4th fight came this year (2023-2024), and HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Robert has the right balance of aggressiveness, exceptional knowledge, firmness, and negotiating skills. But if push comes to shove, just put your feet up, sit back, and watch! He will NEVER let you be bullied or give an inch on what you legally deserve. So much so, during this 4th court fight, Robert was able to modify my previous court orders (in favor of me), while the opposition filed custody petitions, enforcement petitions, and modification petitions. All of which failed! Robert is still on retainer! Because as of today, the next time/the LAST TIME/the most important time...will be on our terms! Already preparing. DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!!!!
