Recently I was involved in a head on collision with an uninsured driver. My son was in the car with me. We both suffered major injuries and had to be flown by helicopter to the hospital. I had to undergo 7 different surgeries and my son, who was in a coma for over a week, underwent 11 surgeries. We both eventually recovered but will never be the same as before the accident. Thankfully we had a large underinsured policy on my car.
