I interacted with Kathleen Stillman as opposing counsel in a divorce that was procedurally straightforward and had a predictable outcome. The case took nearly two years to resolve. It involved multiple financial disclosures containing the same information and an unsuccessful mediation, all of which increased time and expense without advancing resolution. Communication was adversarial and often aggressive rather than solution-focused. The ultimate outcome was consistent with what could reasonably have been anticipated. No extraordinary results were achieved for the client relative to the time and cost incurred. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Kathleen Stillman for cost-effective, efficient, or resolution-oriented divorce representation.

Jennifer Gadow does not even deserve one star. I thought she would be kind based on her smile in her bio picture, but she’s not kind at all. I paid $400 so that she could belittle me and cause me more stress than I’ve ever had while going through my custody battle. I came here for help, but I had to walk out as soon as I realized that she was not empathetic towards single mothers, like I envisioned (since her bio says she is a single mother). I should’ve walked out sooner. When I left her office, my shoulders were tense from the stress her interrogation caused me for the rest of the evening. If you think she may understand your struggles as a hard-working, single mother with an abusive father as an ex, forget about it! She’s condescending and passive aggressive. She also needs to drink less caffeine, as she was sipping on her coffee every two minutes throughout our meeting.

Kathleen Stillman and her team at Fromm Smith and Gadow provided excellent and quality service. Kathleen was highly knowledgeable in all aspects of my case. I feel that my needs were met and that the firm was invested in me and my case. I highly recommend them for any and all Family Law Needs.

In 2017 Kathy Stillman was supposed to be my hired attorney for my custody case. The father of my child was on drugs, and not taking care of of child the way he should. She told me there was no way the courts would give me most of the time I was asking fo. Even given his failed drug tests and he put in his financial sheet he spends 60-80 a month on alcohol and cigarettes- no support for our child, and our child came back with many bruises many many times. Kathy told me there was nothing that could be done and I should just sign what the dad’s attorney offered. She made me feel pressured and so un-heard. Fast forward a year after that we went to court again, and again today. However, I have a new attorney and things are going very well, and this time around everyone is putting the child first. Kathy doesn’t care.

I had the pleasure of working with Jenny Gadow and her awesome team when I went though my divorce. Jenny was great! She was a strong and knowledgeable advocate on my behalf at every step of the way. Her team kept me informed and up to date, answering all my questions. Having them on my side made a very stressful time bearable and gave me a peace of mind. And while no divorce is inexpensive, Jenny's fees were very, very reasonable. Highly recommend this firm for anyone considering a divorce.
