I reached out to this firm expecting professionalism and genuine consumer advocacy. Instead, after providing all the information they requested, the communication simply stopped. No follow‑up, no courtesy email, not even a basic "we can’t take your case." What’s most disappointing is that even debt collectors — whose intentions are clear from the start — show more transparency than this. You may not like what a debt collector has to say, but at least you know where you stand. With this firm, you’re left guessing whether your case was reviewed, dismissed, or simply ignored because it wasn’t profitable enough. Instead of trying to respond to this review, how about being upfront with potential clients and just saying: "If we’re not going to profit from your case, we won’t help you." At least that would be honest. A consumer protection firm should value communication, honesty, and respect for the people seeking help. This experience felt like the opposite: profit‑driven filtering with no regard for the individual on the other end. If you’re looking for real advocacy or even basic professionalism, I would look elsewhere. I appreciate the acknowledgment, but your reply still doesn’t address the core issue: after our follow‑up communication, your firm stopped responding entirely. I provided all the information you requested, and then there was no update, no decline, and not even a basic courtesy message. Calling this a "process issue" sidesteps the fact that the silence happened at the exact point where professionalism and transparency were expected. Inviting me to call now doesn’t change that the breakdown occurred during your review of my case, not afterward. My response isn’t about reopening the conversation. It’s about documenting an experience where a firm advertising itself as "consumer protection" failed to provide even the minimum level of communication. I hope future potential clients receive clearer and more respectful follow‑through than I did.

Khosroabadi & Hill and associates are not family law experts. Look at their Yelp Reviews! During an intake call I was told there was a free consultation with the Attorney. Attorney Sara Khosroabadi called me for what I thought was a consultation with my perspective attorney. After spending time and energy explaining my matter, Sara stated she thought her association Jim Garland was best suited for my complex matter. I was confused why I was even speaking to her and told her that I expected to be speaking with the attorney who would represent me to ensure we had a good personality match… generally considered one of OF NOT the most important component of the Attorney client relationship. I then asked her about Jim, and how long he had been practicing Family Law. She told me he had been practicing Family Law for 12 years. I told her that I would want to speak with Jim before I commit with him. She told me that would cost hundreds of dollars to speak with him and that the consultation with her was free. I told her I believe that was manipulative and a pretty unethical sales tactic. She agreed to schedule an appointment for me with Jim. Prior to that appointment , I did some research and found a "Jim Garland" Attorney profile on another website… it clearly stated he had 12 years of REAL ESTATE experience and was from the mid west. There was a phone number… I called "Jim". Jim stated he had recently started working in family law…and even though I had significantly more diverse experience in family court, Jim had offered to assist me with a real estate matter…plus his hourly rate was much lower than the "Jim Garland" Sara had told me about….soooo, I considered working with him. A day later, I get a text message from Jim stating that because I had spoken with Sara. He could not take either of my cases. I told him thank you for confirming he is the same Jim and that Sara Khosroabadi had misrepresented his family law experience and had significantly inflated his hourly rate. I told him I would be warning people about her unscrupulous sales and marketing. He repeatedly requested I not share my experience… Look at their reviews. Primarily Real estate etc… Sara Khosroabadi uses a manipulative sales process and misrepresents her associates experience.

In 2022 I found this firm by googling. Amanda Hill helped me with my divorce from my ex husband. I never thought that I would be a "returning customer" but in 2024 I contacted the firm to start a child support and child custody modification case. I have been working with Tea Antonino, and she has been amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and is excellent at communicating. I feel very confident and secure with Tea Antonino as my legal representative.

Sara is absolutely amazing. She is a partner at the law firm. Even when right now it seems we are not her client yet, she spent time to ask us details of our issues and then give us throughout and detail advices on what to do ourselves and what we need to pay attention to solve our issues. I’ll definitely work with her if I need help with legal assistance.
