A Brilliant and Compassionate Attorney mr Haddad Attorney Haddad is truly an exceptional lawyer — professional, sharp, and deeply compassionate. When he took my case, I had already gone through six painful years and worked with eight different attorneys who could not help me. I was hopeless, heartbroken, and lost faith — until I met Mr. Haddad. In just a short time, he carefully studied my complex case and immediately understood the truth and what truly mattered. During the trial, when I felt defeated and overwhelmed by the opposing side, Mr. Haddad stood strong and presented the key evidence with clarity and confidence — evidence that no other attorney had ever brought forward in six years. His professionalism, intelligence, and calm strength turned everything around. Beyond his remarkable legal skills, what touched me most is his heart — the empathy of a father who understood the pain of a mother fighting to see her children again. His presence, wisdom, and compassion were like an answer to my prayers. I am forever grateful to Mr. Haddad for his dedication, integrity, and humanity. He is not only an outstanding attorney but also a true blessing to his clients. — Jessica Nguyen
I retained attorney Sami Haddad for my family law case and had a very negative experience. I paid him a flat fee of $3,650 in advance. I am a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran, 100% VA disabled, and the primary caregiver of two children under three years old. Not only did Mr. Haddad jeopardize my case and time with my children, but he also refused to refund any part of the fee when asked. He initially told me he wanted to keep costs low, but later claimed my case had become "high conflict." I made it clear I was willing to discuss additional costs if needed. Instead of being upfront, his lack of timely communication caused me to miss critical hearings and opportunities for parenting time. August 18, 2025 - Missed Custody Hearing: I had a hearing scheduled at 8:00 a.m. Mr. Haddad only vaguely said it was about custody and suggested we'd have a phone call beforehand, which never happened despite my follow-up. He never gave me details about where to appear. I texted him at 7:48 a.m. from the courthouse, and again at 8:47 a.m. saying I had been waiting almost an hour. He finally replied at 8:53 a.m. telling me it was on another floor. By the time I arrived, I was told the other party had already been dismissed. This was an FCS Child Custody Recommending Counseling (CCRC) session that could have provided me more meaningful time with my children. The opposing attorney later sent a confirm letter stating, "Your client did not appear for FCS mediation. This is concerning, as this is the second FCS mediation missed by your client and was already reset once." Only then did Mr. Haddad acknowledge his mistake. July-September 2025 - TRO Mishandling: On July 21, 2025, I filed a counter Temporary Restraining Order (TRO). On July 23, Mr. Haddad assured me, "I will serve her through her lawyer. No issue serving her." That never happened. On August 29, 2025, a San Diego Sheriff's detective called me directly to inform me that the judge had signed the TRO but it had never been served. I confronted Mr. Haddad by text the same day and received no reply. On September 3, 2025, he finally attempted service by mail, which was not valid. I had to return to the courthouse myself on September 12, 2025 to file paperwork for the Sheriff's Department to properly serve her. Even law enforcement and other attorneys noted his reputation for being overextended. A deputy taking my DV report told me Haddad is "very busy," and another attorney said she worked with him before and that "he often takes on more than he can handle." In my opinion, Mr. Haddad takes on more clients than he can manage, and my case was neglected as a result. I lost confidence in his representation, filed an MC-050 to represent myself. My advice: stay away. He may sound affordable at first and is quick to send payment info, but after that, you will rarely hear from him. If you are seeking family law representation, you may get better results representing yourself with the free resources available at the courthouse than by hiring Mr. Haddad.
Sami Haddad is a smart man and a straight shooter. He gives it to you straight and he knows what he is doing. Moreover, he has a kind heart. He is good at his job and he is interested in helping people. He went above and beyond for me and didn't gouge for every penny he could like my previous lawyer did. Sami is a good man. He will help you. If you're smart, you will hire him.
Sami is Honest, Responsive and reasonably prices his services. He is highly experienced and respected by the court. He will tell you how the system works and do his best to get you through the grinder. The best way is to not get the State involved in your life by signing off on a marriage license but if you make that mistake like I did, give Sami a call.
Recently we called on Sami and his expertise to represent us in a family court matter. As a lawyer, he's very knowledgeable, highly intelligent and professional. As a person he's understanding, realistic and caring. Throughout the process we got to know how he works and Sami is a straight shooter. He sets very realistic expectations and will truthfully guide you based on his experience. Under his guidance we were able to come to an agreement with the other party that was in our favor. We're thankful for Sami and will definitely be relying on his understanding of the law for anything that comes our way in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel. Thank you Sami!
Sami has been my attorney now for going on 3 years and i can honestly and whole heartedly say that he is one of the best attorneys that i have hired. Sami is a realist he will not promise you something that you don't have a decent chance at fighting for. Recently Sami was representing me in my Custody case for my daughter to be moved back to San Diego County after a previous ruling was made in 2021 granting the move away. Needless to say Sami completely knocked the socks off of the other counsel and made a strong case. He's an amazing attorney and i'm grateful to have him in my corner! Definitely an attorney worth hiring and where you will spend your money wisely on your matters. Thank you Sami for everything you do and continue to do for my case!
Sami helped me get through a very difficult custody battle and a move away order. The results were successful and i felt like not only did i have a knowledgeable lawyer by my side but it felt like i had a big brother looking out for me every step of the way! He was very responsive in his communication and i appreciated his logical and factual approach to solutions. He didn’t fluff anything or make false promises, I would definitely recommend him for your family law issue!
