I cannot recommend Britney Malpiede highly enough. Navigating a family court case involving my 7-year-old daughter was an incredibly stressful experience, but Brit provided unwavering compassion and support, always keeping my daughter's best interests at the forefront of every decision. What truly impressed me was her dedication to understanding our unique situation. She took the extraordinary step of visiting my daughter's school on at least four separate occasions. This proactive approach allowed her to gain invaluable insight into her daily life and the dynamics at play, demonstrating a level of commitment I hadn't expected and deeply appreciated. I'm convinced Britney genuinely cares and her thoroughness made a significant difference in the case, and I am eternally grateful for her exceptional representation of my child. I’m confused as to why the terrible reviews towards Brit. Do lawyers always answer back immediately?? No. But does Brit get everything done in a timely manner, yes. Brit supported me in 3 different cases and never once asked for a continuance because she wasn’t prepared (while opposing counsel did every time). She composed herself in a professional and loving manner, and truly cares about her clients. What more can you ask for? She truly wants the best for her clients and I won every single case with her help. She’s a great lawyer and deserves much more than these google reviews show. She gave me amazing guidance and not once over or under promised. She really knows what she is doing and you would be lucky to have her on your side.

Brit is amazing and caring and organized and professional and prompt and compassionate and funny and well liked by the judge and I felt well represented by her every time we were in court together. I reached out to her in my most desperate and difficult situation of my life, she did her best for me and continued to fight for me until we got the resolutions we were hoping for. Brit is awesome and I will be forever grateful to her.

Year update: A year after removing the child from our home, this child is now homeless because mom is too irresponsible to have a stable home. The child is experiencing emotional turmoil, couch surfing and being exposed to inappropriate mature content because Brit didn’t do her part in fully researching mom’s environment. I feel so sad for that child. This lawyer was assigned to my partner’s custody case to represent his son in court. I have witnessed this lawyer be biased toward the client’s mother standing up for her in court even going as far as helping her by giving her legal advice in private, even though the child’s mom has admitted to that in writing. This lawyer has supported removing the child from school to visit mom in another state but says the son is not able to visit dad for 4 extra days this Christmas even though the teacher told dad it’s fine and dad won’t see his son until next year otherwise. This lawyer also did not do full and fair research to keep the integrity of the case and was primarily one-sided with the mother. The child also mentioned to us that any comment he made to this lawyer where he expressed uneasiness towards his mother’s behavior was dismissed by this lawyer with comments like, "No, that is not true", "You don’t truly feel that way", etc. The kid was being gaslighted to fit the lawyer’s agenda because as she told me, "Studies show that kids do best with their mothers". The child was on the Honor roll at school with his dad and since he is with his mother, he performed mainly "average" on his report card. The child has mentioned to her that he wants more time with his dad, and Brit does not care. The child’s grandparents have been calling her but she never returns their calls and barely responds to dad though mom brags about her getting advice from this lawyer. She is not even charging the mother, meanwhile she charged the father and he paid her over a thousand dollars in fees. So, if you're looking for a lawyer who is biased toward the mother in a custody case, and doesn't do full research to truly benefit the child’s best interests, then this is your gal.

Ms. Malpiede disappointed me. She was incompetent, disorganized and lost an easy case somehow, while also joking and vaping while I was crying. She charged me several thousand dollars and did nothing to help me. She doesn’t know the law and forgot her legal objections. Honestly, I was embarrassed by her representation in court. She dropped her papers, had misnumbered exhibits, and despite weeks and weeks of preparation and multiple requests to send the same media she could not properly introduce the evidence to the judge. She showed up late on the first day and was still preparing her paperwork. She made inappropriate comments and jokes- specifically referencing the well known Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case and something about muffins after a long, exhausting a day of trail. Do not hire her for any reason. I am reporting her to the State Bar. Read her reviews before you hire her ( 2 stars on google, 1 star on Yelp). I feel like my money was taken from me and I probably would have been better off with anyone else.

Brit has handled all of my family law cases since I was first introduced to her. I had worked with a few attorneys before her but those experiences were lacking Brit's exceptional ability to be reasonable, fair, and when needed, an effective and powerful litigator. I can't recommend anyone as highly as Brit for any family law issue.

If your looking for a good Attorney and you have a high conflict custody and divorce I DO NOT RECOMEND HER. Before you hire anyone YELP them GOOGLE them due your research. That's all carry on.
