I contacted Wayne Crow the attorney before they changed the Wealthy street Firm to Brookhills Legal Services. Run as fast as you can away from this Firm they will take your money and do nothing to help you. I had to hire a new lawyer to help me get a divorce.

Do not hire these people. They will take your money and do nothing whatsoever for you. I hired them while I was incarcerated and all they had to do was postpone my court date two weeks. They were unable to postpone it. They didn’t ask me anything about my case before going to court. My parents hired them will I was incarcerated and they never came to talk to me about the case. I would have been better off not using a lawyer at all. Everything my wife asked the court for was granted to her. Now I can no longer go to my home or see my son and I’ve done nothing wrong. I paid them $2500 and they went to court one time and I fired them after that. They have refunded me zero dollars to this day. Don’t waste your money on this garbage law firm!

I contacted Wayne when it was Wealthy Street Lawfirm. Wayne is an aggressive lawyer and someone you want on your side. My case got shuffled around a bit as it was turning into Brookhills Legal Services. I do not recommend Jonathan Browning who I ended up with, he seemed ill prepared in court, and took a long time to prepare a modification in custody order after the fact, but the rest of the staff was phenomenal. If you need anything Dave is the person to talk to. He is "For the client" 100%. After the court hearing I was upset and frustrated, he made sure everything got fixed to the best of his ability and made sure Wayne was aware and things started moving a lot smoother! I give Dave a 5 star rating as he was amazing through the whole process!! The only thing I would change is the lawyer I ended up with which is the only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5.

My case has been ongoing since April 2024, and John Browning and his office have only made it worse. I now have less time with my child and am paying more in support. They failed to notify me of a court date, which forced a full in-person hearing, then charged me a second retainer to fix their own mistake — and still made things worse. John even told me my closing statement was filed on time, but the court order says it wasn’t even considered. Poor communication, no accountability, and costly mistakes — I would never recommend this attorney.

I would give negative stars if I could, I have a paid receipt from July 21, 2025 for a retainer I paid for this law firm to help me with a motion to file change of schools and a change of parenting time. I should have known better after it took rescheduling twice and multiple phone calls to have an initial consultation scheduled. I met with Torrey, she was going to file the paperwork I need by Friday August 8. She "left the company," no one from this office called me to tell me, I went days trying to get ahold of someone in the office. When they finally did get ahold of me, they sent me a "change of attorney form," my name was not even correct on the form. My husband and I went to their office on Cascade and was given a worthless sob story about how they did not have our money and they don't have a way to return it to us. Jonathon even said "if I wrote you a check, it would bounce" This office is a joke, please do not give them any money. My husband has reached out to the news about this awful place and have filed the grievance paperwork with the state of Michigan.

Tori is the absolute best and I highly recommend her as your family Lawyer representative, she kept great communication with me, and she knows her stuff! 10/10 with them!
