Atty Tien Duong handled my complicated case professionally, guided me all the way as she is very experienced on what she do. A restraining order was filed against me and with the help of Tien in just a very short notice, the case was dismissed. I was so happy and now i have peace of mind.

She is very unprofessional. During an appointment, she was not prepared with my case and asked me to help her find the documents for my divorce on her desk. I have never seen a person so disorganized for a client attorney meeting. Also, communicating with her is difficult. There were times where she would go days before responding to me when I called her and her office receiving no response, but claiming she is sick but will not send a text saying so. She even walked out and left me waiting within her office for almost an hour without any proper explanation and told me to wait. She was going to charge me for just sitting there WAITING; until I made a complaint about wasting my time and money..I would understand if it was a family emergency for her to take off or a personal issue and ask to reschedule but you do not make a client wait during their time that they paid good money for your services, that is rude and disrespectful. She is more concerned with herself rather than helping the client. She will waste your time if she can get away with it. In the end, I had retain another attorney or risk losing my community assets with her.

Rude, gets exasperated easily and apparently is one of those people who if you are careless will only try to get every last cent out of you. To begin with, when we arrived to the appointment, she was busy, ok, we only wanted to let her know we could wait in the hallway, but instead of calling us in, she only knocked the window and made us a signal to go inside. First red flag. At the moment we present ourselves, with previous appointment must say, she made a personal call, which took at least 30-40 minutes of the time we were in there, must say that we attended in time to the appointment and she didn't even excuse herself for the call. Second red flag. We needed to do some handwriting, and she didn't stop complaining about "how ugly" our calligraphy was. Madam, I am here to hire your services, not for you to criticize us. Third red flag. Not only that, in middle of the conversation she started to eat, I'm human, I understand people needs to eat, I understand she could be busy and didn't have any time to eat, but it took her at least other 30 minutes and then she charged us 1050 usd, for "3 hours where she did her job". Not satisfied with it, when we said that the charge for 3 hours where kinda excessive she started to yell at us that it was our opinion, we could sue her if we wanted and that, not only that, start to yell and scream some things in her native language. But ok, as she herself said, she is starving. Maybe she is a good lawyer, maybe not, I don't know, but at least her manners and reactions seem very unprofessional to me, that's why I wouldn't recommend her.
