Katherine Hurst represented me in my custody case and was absolutely amazing. Not only does she put her client as top priority, she also cares about the well-being of the child/children involved. She will fight for what is right and made the whole experience so much less stressful than I thought it would be. I have and will recommend Katherine Hurst to anyone dealing with family court issues and I plan for her to be the one to also do my Power of Attorney, Living Will and Will to ensure my children are taken care of in the event that anything were to happen to me.

Mrs. Hurst represented me in my divorce and child custody case. It is difficult in this day and time to find an attorney to recognize fathers as capable and decent human beings. I contracted Ms. Hurst twice, to represent me for custody of my daughters. For the first one, we had to go to Houma, La (Terrebonne Parish), and I was the FIRST man to get custody of his female daughter, in that judge's court room. For the second time that I retained her, court was held in Lafayette, La. She got me everything that I asked for, plus some. If anyone is reading this, and is looking for a Family Law Attorney, I highly recommend Ms. Hurst!!!!!!!!!

When seeking representation, I would definitely skip over this one. I tried contacting Kathy and left her my phone number and a brief message. That was MONTHS ago. I tried to contact her again and still haven’t heard a word back. But I’m not surprised, the assistant that answered the phone could barely make out any actual phrases that made sense and stumbled when asked for basic answers like: "when can I expect a response back?" Completely unprofessional and utterly incompetent as apparent in her response to this review below. Kathy doesn’t seem to understand proper grammar or the difference between an actual cease and desist vs threatening words typed on ugly letterhead. Consumers beware! Seek representation and legal advice elsewhere!
