This was not one or two mistakes — it was a consistent pattern throughout the case. We hired Maastricht Law Firm for what was described as a simple Florida probate. From start to finish, communication was poor unless repeatedly initiated, guidance changed over time, and administrative errors were frequent. The firm extended creditor claims despite earlier assurances they would not affect the estate, billed for work we had already completed ourselves, and made factual mistakes, including confusion between estates. We were rarely informed proactively about status, costs, or filings. Final billed fees approached nearly three times the retainer. The firm stated that additional charges were not billed because they believed we would have been upset. While we expected some overage, the lack of transparency was concerning. This experience added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I recommend choosing a different firm.

I was looking for a Medicaid Attorney and was referred to Eileen/Becca by a co-worker who had recently used them. I truly cannot say enough good things about Eileen and Becca. From the very beginning, they were extremely attentive, responsive and genuinely cared about helping me through the process. They took the time to explain everything step by step, never making me feel rushed or confused-even when I didn't know exactly what I was doing or what questions to ask. Communication was excellent and immediate; they always got back to me promptly and made sure I understood what was happening at every stage. We were referred to Eileen as an expert in Medicaid. When we first called her, she took a great deal of time to explain the entire process and options. We hired her and we followed her direction, she was always very quick to respond, and her assistant Becca is terrific and also super quick to respond. I attended and completed a zoom call moments ago with Eileen Maastricht /Maastricht Law Offices which covered many topics, will, probate, revocable living trust, contrast of both, ladybird, DPOA. It was comprehensive and she made it easy to understand. She sent a very detailed attachment that helped in following her, and she provided space for me to jot notes and/or questions. I've been on many of these and have another 3 scheduled. I was extremely impressed with her presentation and more importantly the scope of the topic and her thorough knowledge that she shared with us. This is important to understand and more importantly, getting the proper guidance. She was able to answer questions with a detailed response. Of all the ones I have attended, this is by far the BEST presentation, easy to understand and I when it was over I dropped the zoom and immediately called to set up an appointment.
