I'll give the place 2 stars because with some persistents on my end, I did at least talk to someone. Sadly the attorney I talked to couldn't have been less interested in anything I had to say. The impression from the very beginning was that this firm is too busy to address what they apparently perceive as a cry baby, disrespectful homeowner, refusing to accept any accountability for the alleged violations being imposed. I was advised to continue to pay fines as the HOA sends them out. No credible proof of a violation occuring is needed, if they say I did wrong, then obviously I did. Why am I even questioning it? Didn't I understand that the legal fee will be more than the fine ? Of course, just pay because they said! That sounds like a great solution! Wow, I can't believe that fair & reasonable option never occurred to me. Not to mention as long as the fine is less that an attorney, then I'm getting a great deal ! Clearly I am an irrational person asking for something more than hear say prior to breaking out the checkbook. Bottom line; this firm likely prefers working FOR HOA's against the homeowners, & NOT interested in working for a homeowner disputing the HOA. If this is you, don't waste your time with this place. ! NEXT !

Apologies as I can not rate higher than a one. I can't. I went through their web site to try to schedule something and talk with them - no response. I called them and my call was directed to attorney Nick Henry where my call went to his voice mail. I left a voice mail and got no call back. I called again and was told that he would get to my phone call when available. Well - that was four days ago.

You're not ever looking for a lawyer if everything is going great. You're looking for a lawyer when you've got a problem, money may be on the line, and certainly emotions are involved. We worked with Steven Opheim to get a judgment in our favor, and we ended up getting all the money returned to us less legal fees. This was our best possible outcome, and I remain very aware that others in our same situation are still battling it out in the courts to get their money back. Steven laid out a plan to get our money back, set a timeline, and then executed on it. The process itself was long and drawn out, but we knew that from the outset. The timeline was out of the control of Dudley and Smith. And the cherry on top was that after all was said and done, the total cost of the legal fees was about $2000 less than estimated initially.

I had something fall on me at a big box store and it had injured my foot. The big box store said that they would take care of everything in the store and then when I talked to the insurance adjuster, he said they were not accepting liability at that time. I did not know what to do so I reached out to Dudley and Smith. Katherine Brown Holmen agreed to take on my case. She was very upfront about the yearlong process and communicated the updates along the way. TJ Reinhardt was a Law Clerk who helped on my case, and he was amazing and helped me with my effects on life. Very easy to talk to and quick to respond. If Katherine was unavailable, someone in the office would help me or she would get back to me quickly. When you get injured, it is a long journey to heal and a lot of appointments to get healthy again. It is frustrating when the situation could have been avoided if the big box store had safer protocols. Having Katherine on my case made me feel much better and I am grateful to her and her team.

Attorney Jonathan Engel helped me through a difficult family case that we won. I am grateful for his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help me in any way that he could. Very unprofessional. I was looking a lawyer to retain on a family matter an I spoke to Gloria a few time over the phone to discuss my family matter.. after I was told to get court transcripts " which I did " I never received a call back after 3 attempts to contact Gloria. I'm not sure exactly why she never returned my phone calls. I know it was very unprofessional of her to do. Please review your lawyers before trying to retain one. If I would have noticed a 1 star review I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to retain this lawyer. Best advice to the public is research lawyers before attempting to retain one could save you time. Unlike myself who is a few weeks behind because I thought this woman would help me with my case 😒

Dudley&Smith. Dudley&Smith represented me in my personal injury case. This firm handled my case with the insurance to help with my medical and all other areas of my case. They always. Updated me and kept me informed me about my case. When ever I called they always returned my calls. They did a good in helping me settle with the insurance.
