Mary Szondy is an exceptional attorney, and was pivotal in getting a good outcome on our case. This year we found my niece and nephew after 30+ years of not knowing where they were. The nephew is in a good group home with a good corporate guardian, but we had a lot of worries about the situation of our niece. I tried at first to file things myself with the state forms, but it became clear we needed legal help. Mary provided great advice that had not occurred to me and worked hard behind the scenes to craft a solution that was palatable to all and to tried (and succeeded) in coming to a resolution without a trial, which would have been an enormous amount of stress for us and would have dragged the procedure out further. I know without a doubt that we would not have gotten guardianship without Mary. I searched for many attorneys, but most guardianship attorneys I found really only knew how to work on setting up an initial guardianship, not changing a guardian, and none I found had the knowledge of vulnerable adults combined with knowledge of how best to navigate the system that Mary does.
