My advice is to structure every contract as if as soon as it’s signed the counterparty pulls off their mask and they are the devil and try to scree you over in every way possible. "Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" … Also make sure your business plan has a lot of cushion for market changes, nonpayments of receivables, legal, delays, etc. You can love herb and love growing but holding a license and developing a business is not for the faint of heart. If you’re going to do it and succeed, you need to have resources, experienced legal like Seligson, a true competitive advantage, and strong demand that exceeds your supply. There are many changes on the horizon that may or may not happen. Research them heavily and how they would impact your business. And ask Ken any remaining questions. "Look before you leap" … also I know Ken to be a strong advocate for employee rights which I respect, the abuse of some of these companies is insane and people deserve justice. Seligson is also quite cost competitive and reasonable with billing. Talk about your budget. He is one of us.
