Meeting by accident. I met Trey Ennis through my husband, they have been friends and golf partners. Trey called to set up our first meeting and I was amazed at how his kindness, patience, and understanding eased my anxiety. Our First meeting; Trey asked to give him a picture of what happened before, during and after in my own words so he could understand how the accident occurred. He assured me that it was necessary to take a statement from my point of view. During this statement, he would ask questions that would help me explain exactly what was going through at each moment of the accident at the time. Anxiety about what happened on that day, made me uncomfortable at first. This was something new and frightening for me. Trey made me feel comfortable and told me to take my time in explaining everything that happened. There was no hurry or rush to talk about the accident. He indicated that I was not not at fault and should not fear talking about what happened. Trey was concerned about my well being mentally and physically and asked how I was doing. I explained every injury I sustained during the accident. I also asked if I could get the injuries to my body looked into because the pain has not subsided, but increased in intensity. I was given options to choose from to help out with my request. After we spoke, he explained what to expect during the process in detail, even if I interrupted him, he answered every question with patience and kindness. And every time he assured me that I was not at fault. He indicated that this process could be lengthy, but he would keep me informed each step of the process as it progressed. Trey stated that if after the meeting, if I had any questions or concerns that came up, all I had to do was call and if he was busy, I could leave a message and he would returned my call with no hesitation with an explanation to my questions or concerns. It's comforting to know that this is someone who could calm my fears and answer the questions quickly and efficiently. Since the meeting with Trey and his staff, I was able to continue on without worrying about the details. The case has moved through the court system and Trey brought in a partner Law Firm to assist and close the case.
