I would really like to use this medium to appreciate Attorney Ruchi Thaker for her tenacity and pragmatic approach toward handling my AOS case. Initially, I did not use an attorney for my marriage-based Green Card application. I attended an interview with my wife in January, and subsequently, the I-130 petition was approved. However, about three weeks later, I received a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) based on alleged inadmissibility due to misrepresentation, making me ineligible to adjust my status according to USCIS. Confused and unsure of what to do, I reached out to several attorneys. During this process, I even paid a lawyer who began preparing a response to the NOID without including the I-601 waiver.
