I was so fortunate to have found Nicole Crites and work with her for the divorce process. Divorce is a tremendously stressful process full emotions but Nicole was right there with me through every up and down. The communication was amazing and I felt informed the entire time. Her and her team with Dory were very responsive and if I had questions or concerns I got a response quickly. Nicole was professional and most importantly you could tell that she cared. I consulted with Cathy Cooper for a difficult custody case originating in Florida. The consultation was witnessed by my best friend. The reassurance was strong at first. Cathy spoke a lot about her family's legal challenges. I found that unhelpful and horribly expensive at the 500+ and hour rate. She asked me to pay an amount (totaled almost 2200 dollars) and after a few days - all I got was "you may want to call the Florida Bar for attorney recommendations." That after telling me the firm had Florida connections. So disappointing. I represented myself in the hearing and Judge ruled in my favor. I love talented attorneys who care. This individual did me a favor by showing me how much she focused on money and not helping me or my child. I do anesthesia for a living. I don't toss out the difficult cases nor do I drain the pockets of sicker patients. Shame.

Nicole (and Dory!) guided me through the unfortunate process of going through a tumultuous divorce with genuine care, compassion, and expertise. I entered in to this situation clueless where to even begin when it came to finances and the "business" side of marriage which created an immense amount of anxiety, fear, and and an overall sense of powerlessness. With their guidance and support, I no longer feel controlled or incapable - I feel much more empowered as a woman and confident in my self as I enter this new chapter of my life. Talking to Nicole was as easy as talking to a friend. Never once did I feel judged for my own mistakes, faults, or fears. Nicole' helped me to achieve an outcome that will bring me peace moving forward. I will say that Nicole gave me excellent advice and was not afraid to check me when I needed checked (which we all need to be sometimes when emotions run high ) but she also was not afraid to stand up to our opposing counsel and aggressively stand up for me when need be as well. She was *fierce* at mediation and able to resolve all of the tough issues in my case through only mediation without the added stress, time, and financial burden of going to trial in front of a judge. Reaching a settlement was where she absolutely shined! She truly had my child's best interest at heart throughout the whole process, resulting in a fair outcome that met my expectations. Nicole and Dory made this unfortunate part of my life something that I will be able to live with and close the book on with peace and gratitude.
