I encourage you to read this review if you are facing a difficult divorce. I endured an unbelievably difficult divorce against a formidable, skilled and winning opposing counsel - he was always two steps ahead of my past attorneys and just kept on winning, despite facts and truth being in my favor. I found OREN GRAUPE from a Google Search, we had a good discussion, and I bet my future on his skill. In the subsequent months that followed, Oren faced the same opposing counsel, and he turned the tide, took control of the narrative, and facts and truth DID matter again - the result was a fair, balanced outcome that literally saved me from financial ruin. So, what did Oren do so differently? He out-worked, out-thought, and out-strategized the opposing counsel - based in facts, in truth, and an amazing application of statutes and case law. For me, Oren fought, won and gave me back my life - he is just amazing. He is also the calmest person I have probably ever met in my life, which makes him all the more formidable in his planning and execution.

I worked with Larry Manassa as a mediator during my divorce, and while he ultimately helped bring the process to a conclusion, my overall experience was disappointing. From the very beginning, I did not feel that Larry was a strong listener to either my wife or me. We both entered mediation in a very vulnerable and emotionally raw place, and I did not feel that tenderness or sensitivity was respected. Much of the process felt driven by Larry’s perspective on what he believed a court would impose, rather than allowing space for us to explore proposals we felt were important to us. I came into mediation with thoughtful ideas about what I hoped to propose, but they were immediately objected to. My wife experienced similar pushback throughout the process. At times, Larry spoke over both of us, and his tone often felt firm and transactional rather than kind or empathetic. Divorce is one of the most difficult experiences a person can go through, especially in situations like mine, where the circumstances were already significantly lopsided. I did not feel that Larry demonstrated much empathy or compassion toward me during the process, which made an already painful situation feel more rigid and impersonal. One of the main reasons I chose Larry was because his website presents him as a Christian mediator. That aspect was important to me, and I hoped for a mediation style that reflected care, humility, and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I did not feel as supported or cared for as I expected. While I am grateful that the mediation did reach a final resolution, I left feeling that I gave up far more in the settlement than I ever would have planned going in. For that reason, I would not personally recommend this firm for mediation, nor would I choose to work with them again.
