Tony De Alicante is the best attorney that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He takes the time to help clients make informed decisions about having a Will versus a Trust, and is able to objectively explain the pro’s and con’s of each in an understandable way. Let me preface this by saying that we were introduced to Tony during a very difficult time in our family. My mom's health was waning quickly, and we needed help getting her estate in order. Tony's understanding of estate planning is excellent. He has a phenomenal understanding of tax laws, and communicates things effectively, and clearly. He quickly intuited our family's needs, and was extremely supportive in doing so. Many attorneys (my own father included) can be - at times - a bit callous, and cold, but at no point did I garner that from him. I'd highly recommend him to anyone that is putting a trust together, or in estate planning in general.

Tony De Alicante has represented me for the last 7 years. I initially retained him to develop an individual trust. After I married in 2013 my wife and I asked him to convert that to a joint trust, and most recently to supplement the joint trust with an individual trust for our rental property. Tony's work is beyond reproach, and he takes time to carefully explain the reasons for taking any action regarding the trusts. Tony De Alicante's first gift is that of a teacher. We met Tony at a gathering of veterans where he provided a free presentation on the basics of estate planning. Although we were impressed, we thought we didn't have a need for his services since we had previously set up a trust with a still practicing local attorney 27 years earlier. Then an unexpected near death emergency occurred and before being wheeled into surgery, we asked ourselves "Everything is all set with our Trust, right?" This spurred us to double check that our affairs were in order and we were absolutely shocked to learn that our former attorney NEVER put a single item in the Trust. And despite multiple meetings over 27 years NEVER informed us of any of this—just kept saying "You're set, it's taken care of." Fool us once...we promptly enlisted the services of Tony. Describing the process as thorough is an understatement. Tony spent hours with us—asking multiple questions, raising a variety of scenarios we may want to consider and reviewing tiny details. Although the former attorney billed us for hours and hours, Tony actually worked for hours and hours and then showed us how the public record actually reflected the existence of a Trust. If 10 stars were an option, Tony De Alicante would receive a 10 star rating!

When my parents moved to the area, they wanted to have their will and other legal matters reviewed and updated, and they included us (their beneficiaries) in the process. My father is retired career military. Tony, who is a career military JAG officer with an impressive record, treated my parents with such honor and dignity. He educated all of us as he reviewed their paperwork, listened to their desires and questions, and showed them how they could protect their assets and even avoid probate with most of their assets. Our entire experience with him was one that instilled belief in his knowledge of the law and in the goodness of man. Tony De Alicante is an incredible lawyer - a confidant and an advocate - one whom my parents and we as a family trust implicitly.

I can't speak highly enough of Tony's help and expertise in making sure my parent's estate documents were in good order.
