Jacklyn helped me petition for guardianship of my mom & was initially incredible helpful. However, she told me to keep my mom in a facility my mom detested & she advised me not to travel with my mom whatsoever. As guardian I had full right to take my mom out of the facility, & to take her back to a place filled with familiar friends, but I listened. Right before a 10 min preliminary hearing she told me if I didn’t pay another $1k she would drop me as a client. Miraculously I paid, & still the next day she dropped me. Being at the mercy of apathetic forces was absolutely devastating without any legal representation. I did not have adequate time to find another attorney & was at the mercy of a predatory professional guardian. I was banned from even visiting her for 36 days. My mom refused to eat & went through her death process alone.
