I appreciate reading reviews about the legal expertise this firm brings to the table; however, my experience echoed what others have noted regarding communication and responsiveness. I hope the firm work to improve client engagement and follow-through, as consistent communication is key to effective legal support.

Naomi Shatz is a brilliant attorney specializing in sexual abuse in higher education. Ms. Shatz helped our family in a sensitive and difficult matter relating to a private boarding school. She is not a hand holding type and somewhat abrupt but she achieved an excellent result. Ms. Shatz was always available, via phone or email which was a pleasant surprise. She is effective and efficient. Would work with her again and highly recommend her.

I contacted David Russcol about my employment case. He impressed me as a thoughtful, humble, compassionate, and knowledgeable lawyer. He talked with me for a while to get a better picture of my situation (at no cost). He was interested in my situation and offered me a fair deal. I made a mistake by not immediately signing the contract. Before advancing with the firm, I was waiting for a position statement. That offer was afterwards off the table. He is a reliable lawyer. I've dealt with some lawyers in the past (evils).

I hired Mr Duncan to deal with a very sensitive issue that my daughter had. Since the first contact, I had a very good impression of him. He transmitted confidence and appeared to know exactly what to do. I called and emailed him many times, he was polite and comprehensible with the anxiety of a father and appeared to know every step to solve the case. I strongly recommend Mr Duncan.

Attorney Ana Muñoz truly proved her worth in my Magistrate's Hearing early this year (2019). Her representation was agreed upon relatively close to the court date and she, along with her team, pulled together a defense without hesitation. Upon meeting in person on the day of the hearing, she was actively pursuing the arresting officer to find a middle ground/negotiate on a more suitable punishment (which ended up being next to nothing!!). I cannot say enough good things about her confidence, efficiency, and thorough presentation to the judge to plead my case in such a civil and effective manner. As a happy camper once finished, I noticed how composed and professional she was...as if she saw no other result but a Win for her and I. She even offered to present for my follow up hearing for me, knowing my commute exceeds two hours. I had an excellent experience regarding a COVID-19 related state employment case which also involved federal regulatory matters. They are just smart people and David Russcol was very quick to understand a complicated multi-issue human resource case with a federal law twist. He baited and played the lawyer for the employer like a TV movie. His brilliance and super-responsiveness resulted in far less time billed than I ever expected. When you need a law firm it is probably a desperate situation and my whole family was pleased that I found a top firm as Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein.
