At first, they were very fast following up after my initial inquiry. Then I had a consult on the phone with Genelle M. Johnson. Her tone the entirety of the call was rude and as if she was annoyed by the questions I was asking or having to explain things to me, as if I've ever been in this position before and should just know. At the close of the call, she said that she would send over paperwork with everything we discussed and payment details. She ghosted me and never sent anything. I even sent a follow up email asking for the paperwork, still no response. I setup a consult with Sterling Law Offices...much better experience. From the intake coordinator I spoke with in my initial call and to the lawyer that I had my virtual consult with. Save yourself time and just go with Sterling from the get go.

Hire another law firm. This law firm will run you dry, support the other party more than your own wellbeing/needs. The only thing Madeline did was sit with me on the final day of the hearing-otherwise she was excellent at gaslighting making it seem like all my concerns were not important as much as my exes. She made them do all the paperwork and did nothing for me but sit next to me in the court room for the final hearing. Going through a divorce was a very painful time for me and they don't care for anyone. It was difficult to get in touch with them and had to make a trip there only to get excuses stating they weren't in the office. They will lie to your face for their own benefit and you'll start to wonder if they are working for you or for the other party. Hire a good attorney, avoid this law firm. They wont work for whats best for you.

On day one I was assigned to an attorney that was not well versed in Family Law, who ended up leaving the firm in the middle of my divorce process. When I was assigned to my new attorney, I got the impression that their plate was already full and that my case was not a priority. Meetings to prepare for hearings, review documents, or to respond to the other attorney were almost always last minute. I needed to have an expert in my corner to help me better understand the law and what precautions I should take to minimize my risks. Also, I understand my attorneys services ended when the divorce was finalized but there were outstanding issues that I felt should be part of the agreement. There was no explanation of how the child support process works, especially when the divorce is finalized in the middle of the month or what to do if the Ex doesn't provide all of the items that were part of the agreement. I thought going with a well-known law firm such as Divergent Family Law would help make the process easier, but that was not my experience whatsoever.

Terrible experience. Could only talk to my lawyer when they thought I owed them money. Refused to answer questions about my case. Unable to reach my attorney for weeks frequently. My lawyer quit the firm during my case. She neglected to review a form and caused it to go to trial against my wishes then quit the firm a few days later. Would have been less frustrating and more productive to just burn my money. I wouldn't hire them if they paid me.

Great firm that really believes in helping the community. I reccomend them for any case involving firearms. Tom Grieve is excellent and is a credit to the legal profession.

Madeline has done a great job looking ahead at possible issues and guiding me to take measured steps. Divergent has been incredible, and I'm beyond happy with the work they're doing for me.

Being a USCCA member I consider the professional, practical, and gun specific advice that Tom gives to be outstanding. Tom demonstrates a personal, hands-on knowledge of weapons and ammunition that adds tremendous credibility to his advice and teaching. Thank you Tom for taking the time to reach to us.
