Eric did an amazing job explaining everything in detail and really helped put my mind at ease, especially since this was my first time filing Chapter 7. 12/04/2023 | filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy with Amourgis & Associates. I got in contact with the attorney multiple times to try to cancel my bankruptcy case, but he kept persuading me to file anyway even though I requested to cancel. Each time I contacted the firm, the receptionist said that someone would contact me about this matter. The only time they contacted me was to collect a payment. I did receive a letter in the mail regarding cancellation of my case in 10 days if payment was not made. I spoke to the person in charge of cancellations & refunds & he refused as well explaining that they already spent time on my case. I feel like it’s all a lie to collect more money they even told me missing a phone call & leaving a voicemail is still a charge inquired upon my case which is very fraudulent and that was never disclosed. I would like my refund or I will be contacting the local bar association

Being divorced for the past ten years and living alone, I've made a few financially unwise decisions that effected me greatly. I appreciate Amourgis & Associates candor and patience with me helping to make this transition as stress free as possible. Being a full time teacher, I was not available to work with a lawyer during school hours so this was a perfect fit for me personally!
