Barbara Demos is a skillful and diligent real estate attorney. And a good communicator. She worked for a flat fee. She came recommended to me by my estate attorney. I would definitely hire her again for any real estate transaction work in the Chicago area.

I've now purchased two homes using Barbara and Claire. Both transactions went great. I felt they were really helpful, especially when it came to communicating with the other parties to make sure the deals held together and closed on time.

Where Barbara is diligent and professional during the home buying process with great follow up and follow through, after closing is not the case. I signed an attorney contract for representation which has a section stating if I ever needed "post representation" her office would do so for a fee. Well, unbeknownst to me, I needed that representation/counseling and contacted her and her office via email and phone several times with no response. I felt her behavior to be very unprofessional, showing lack of character and integrity as an Attorney and human being and for this reason I have no respect for her or her office and would never refer her or use her again.

Ms Demos is by far one of the finest Real Estate attorney;s in the Chicago Metropolitan area. Experienced in every aspect of Commercial, Residential and Industrial properties. Her office is extremely well run, her team is responsive, patient and through. I have closed several deals with her, in every case the buyer or seller was beyond pleased with her service. Excellent in every way.

I used Claire & Barbara as my real estate attorney. I felt incredibly safe and secure during the process. They kept me informed all the way through and explained everything I had questions on or didn’t understand. They never missed a deadline or follow up. I could see the clear difference between how they handled business vs the sellers lawyer and the Demos Team was far superior. If you want your transaction to be taken care of and done right with care, this is who you should use. I know I will again in the future.
