I have used Michelle for over 25 real estate Transactions of my own. She understands the process better than anyone and you can trust her instincts and Word because of her integrity and experience in the business.

We worked with Michelle, Bill and the rest of the team on our recent home purchase. First off, they’re just really lovely people, and treated us like friends from the start. They were dependable, thorough and incredibly efficient. They called me frequently to check in and make sure all of our questions were answered, and dealt with the few issues we had right away - all with a notably pleasant, can-do attitude. I didn’t have that experience when I purchased my last place, so this has been a really nice surprise. Their fees are very reasonable, and they work hard for them. I’d use them again for sure, and would recommend them to anyone.

Michele and her team are extremely efficient and extremely responsive to emails, questions, etc. I’ve used them for two closings now and each time have had a smooth, quick, knowledgeable experience. They are worth it and have a great team approach going! Thank you to everyone for making my life easy!

As I called the receptionist, I had some concerns I was trying to address regarding a new landlord in which they had two different phone numbers. I was trying to ask questions pertaining to making sure I send my payments to the right landlord with the correct phone number through zelle/venmo and not to the wrong landlord or someone random (that would be a nightmare). The lady on the phone was extremely rude and every time I asked a question, she would not let me finish my question and talk over me as if she knew everything I was going to ask. She assumed wrong and didn't want to help address my concerns and said that she was going to hang up after my third question. Be advised, this is probably not a law firm you want to go with as there is no decency or respect. You must now make your decision whether you want this law firm to not help you just as they did not help me, or just simply go elsewhere and try one of the hundreds and hundreds of other law firms that actually do care and know how to listen to questions fully first.

They did a fine job on our house sale.

We worked with Michelle on a house purchase in the late fall. We thought we were making the decision to work with a more professional caliber attorney based on the fees she charged ($600 vs $450). I would strongly warn any first time home buyers from working with Michelle for the following reasons based on our experience: (1) she takes on more clients than she is able to responsibly service. She confused myself and the sellers lawyer on multiple occasions, forgot the property address, did not follow up on specific issues we requested like checking the plat survey, common elements, among other issues. (2) She splits her time between Chicago and Arizona. She was often unavailable to properly follow up with inquiries/requests we made in a reasonable amount of time. (3) She behaved in a manner incredibly unprofessional during the closing. Michelle did not share closing documents with us before the close, so our only chance to review those documents were during the closing. She then attempted to bully us into signing the documents quickly without reading any of the documents. This last point was incredibly embarrassing/aggravating for my wife and I, as the one person during the transaction who is supposed to have our best interest in mind, turned out to be the one most hostile to our position. Unfortunately, she soured what should've been a joyous occasion of purchasing our first home. I caution anyone from working with Michelle unless you are well versed in the home buying process or are looking for someone to do the absolute bare minimum expected from an attorney representing your legal interests.
