Took a case knowing she had a clear conflict of interest and was biased towards one party. Went so far as to not report my ex smelling like alcohol before he picked up my child at a visit, as she’s more concerned about protecting his reputation than protecting my daughter. She also openly admitted to knowingly violating a court order and allowing opposing party to be in contempt of court, again…. But she gets away with everything. She doesn’t seem to understand child psychology, and since she is determining what’s best for children, I say stay away!!! She’s caused my daughter severe trauma over the years because of her inability to think logically and objectively, and she has no education around coercive control, so if you’re in a DV situation, get ready for her to side with your abuser.

Extremely biased! Has not talked to the father and took the guardians side. She had enough time before court to talk to other party's but did not, she sat next to the guardian and defended her decision . The father cried his heart out trying to protect his daughter from abuse and brooks stood next to the abuser. Do not get this lady.

Laurie Brooks is expensive. But you get what you pay for! She genuinely cares about what is best for your children. She’s a no nonsense attorney. She accomplished in our first appearance what I have been trying to get done for two years now. She is honest and straight to the point and she’s not afraid to tell you the client when she thinks you are making a mistake. If 10 stars were available she would get All 10.

Lorie is an amazing child custody/adoption lawyer. She protected my daughter when it was needed most, and stood by our side through every moment. Definitely recommend.

Went in for an hour of her time and asked simply if she would look over my paper work which was already filled out and tell me if I had any mistakes. She in fact did not look at my papers but continued to talk about the general process of divorce and that "most clients retain her for the whole process" I left 36 minutes later not having received 1 shred of assistance and she had the nerve to demand I pay 200$ which I did. What a rip off.

Very Knowledgeable and friendly not cheap though but sometimes you get what you pay for
