Richard J. Goldberg: Unprofessional and Dismissive My interaction with Richard J. Goldberg was highly unprofessional. He stated he would be on vacation during my case's critical period and refused to attend for a "simple misdemeanor." He then quoted $15,000, claiming it was more than a misdemeanor, and referred me to another attorney who never returned my calls. His subsequent dispute of my Avvo review further demonstrated a concerning lack of integrity.

Brian Goldberg was AMAZING. As a working mom I definitely did not expect to find myself in criminal court facing a felony; it was so stressful! I had probably called 20 different law-firms and felt my only choice was to settle with a public defender before someone referred me to Brian. From day 1 working with him I was immediately relieved and not to mention he worked miracles dropping 2 misdemeanors / no court costs / dropping the DWI that they insisted on charging me with even though I was under the limit and taking the felony to a misdemeanor where I no longer have to worry about it because he got the judge to agree no probation/ no court costs. Hoping to never be in this type of predicament again but so, I now know who to call! He also INSISTED on reaching back out to him a year after my case to make sure we get that misdemeanor expunged off my record! DEFINITELY 5 STARS!

Where to began.... First let me give thanks to YAHWEH, creator of the heavens, earth and sea for making a way out of no way. My sons case was given to Brian Goldberg. He knew my son by name. Always was punctual and had excellent communication. He was friendly, gave recommendations and heard our feelings, thoughts and emotions of the case that was at hand. Mr. Goldberg was very thorough even finding a clerical error from the police/court - im assuming - to where my son would have been charged twice, 6 times, within a set of cases/charges. Brian noticed it, questioned the court, and out of 12 charges, 4 was said to be the same one. Mr. Goldberg worked diligently to help my teen as much as he could but also never promising anything. However, he gave us enough information that we knew what the maximum penalty of each charge would be as well as the minimum. He sent out reminder texts/courtesy texts the day before court which we appreciated. It felt as if he was prepared and ready to argue our case. It was a pleasure working with him. Always kind. Always available within reasonable timing to communicate with. My family is grateful and pray the Almighty bless him tremendously. He definitely has a craft!
