He truly made an extremely difficult situation as easy and stress free for me as possible while dealing with the Board of Nursing. The entire thing was shotty to say the least. First thing I did not like, is if they respond to an email, that falls under the minimal of 15 minutes of billing, which can add up quickly. I gave them X amount, knowing if I took case to hearing it would be Y amount, but then it turned into Z amount, which was more obviously, with no extra work. At times, if felt like I needed to motivate my attorney and he was a bit childish, and then they send this stupid monthly statement out, that shows how much money they cost, but they do not list your retainer/credit, and then trying to get that balance is difficult. Cost me a ton of money and they didn't really do anything.

I had a situation with OBN , in which I had no true idea of the meaning of things . Jim helped me resolve my issue while being truly transparent, communicative, and enlightening during the process. I highly reccomend if looking for representation with board of nursing. Don't walk. Run !

I hired Brandon Smith to assist me with allegations made against me by a former employer, which I believe were unfounded. The Ohio Chemical Dependency Board had attempted to have me sign a consent agreement that I did not feel was appropriate. Mr. Smith guided me through the process of requesting a hearing, and his support was invaluable in ensuring that my perspective was heard. Ultimately, we were successful at the hearing, and there were no findings against me regarding the allegations.

I worked with Brandon Smith regarding a false accusation made against my license. Throughout the few weeks we worked together, he was thorough, prompt, and responsive. Should I go through this again (God forbid), I would hire him back without hesitation. His assistant, Monica, was also very helpful.
