I had a terrible experience with attorney George Meleka . From the start, his behavior was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of treating me with respect and understanding, he made me feel like my case was not important and that I was a burden. What was even worse is that he gave up on me before my asylum appointment, which is one of the most critical moments for any client. At the time when I needed his support the most, he abandoned me. To make matters worse, he tried to increase his fees to nearly three times the original amount just to attend the appointment with me. This kind of behavior is unethical and shows a complete lack of integrity. An attorney should be someone who stands by their client and fights for them, not someone who walks away and puts money above everything else. Unfortunately, George Melika proved to be unreliable, unprofessional, and more concerned with profit than with his client’s well-being. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend him to anyone.
