Do not use this law firm. I have never given a one-star review before this one, and if I could have given a -1, I would have—just Google "Pigeon Forge Race eminent domain nightmare" to find out why. Michael Gault executed an Agreed Order without our knowledge, consent, or signatures, effectively stripping us of our property rights. As a direct result, the City of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, bulldozed our home. At the same time, our mortgage remained outstanding, leaving us fully responsible for a debt on a house that no longer existed. Mr. Gault failed to ensure the mortgage was satisfied before the taking. He also agreed, along with another attorney, to withhold $90,000 of our just compensation in a certificate of deposit not in our name, without our approval or knowledge. As of the date of this review, 620 days have passed, and that $90,000 remains wrongfully withheld from us. We have filed a federal malpractice lawsuit and our trial is set for Sept 1st, 2026. Below is a picture of our bulldozed house.

Too stupid to do a wire transfer!!! Money and time down the drain for both the buyer (clients) and seller (not clients) in a home sale closing. Despite providing wiring instructions to payoff the seller mortgage, Bell Carrington decided to courrier the payoff to the bank. In doing so, BC atty charged an additional 7 days of interest to the seller, took 4+ days to send a check from Greenville to Charleston (check clearing on day 5). This delayed clearing of the lien for the Buyer (client) for at least 5 days (probably longer as lien is registered against the title), cost the seller 5 more days of interest. The odd thing is they sent the payout to the sellers via courier and the check was received and cleared the next day. If you don't care about time or money, or having someone elses lien still attached, BC may be a good fit. As a seller watching my time and money be wasted, I would say find another law firm. Unfortunately, the buyers picked slow & sloppy!

We have used them twice now - for a mortgage closing 2 years ago, and for a refi mortgage closing yesterday. Both were out of state closings for us, which can be laborious and complicated. Their firm, both times, were absolutely wonderful with whom to work. Great communication, clear and concise paperwork (they helpfully labelled the 3,426 spots the government made us sign), and just really really nice folks. Highly recommend them!

They're good lawyers, that is to say they will overcharge you and try to take advantage of you at every turn. Wanted to charge me $300 to write a boilerplate POA, and $200 to overnight it to me to sign. I did it myself for free, and $30 to USPS it to them. Use them if you have money to blow I guess.
