Chose this firm for an ugly custody battle. Billie Jo was the attorney used. She would charge upwards to $3,000 every month when seemingly NO work was being done. She appeared once. She would say things like "I researched this while I was off but don’t worry I won’t charge". The law firm would charge our account without any warning. She also failed to provide a receipt of you will each month with what we were charged with. Upwards to $20,000.00 in and she still requested $6,000.00 more to "get through" mediation. I would believe every person who rated this firm as a "one" star. They are secretive, they are scammers, and they are money hungry.

Billie Jo represented me to get my daughter relocated to my new address nearer my fiancé and for school placement. She was thorough in gaining insight to my circumstances, very communicative in the whole process, strategic in her approach, detailed in all aspects of what turned out to be three court actions, proactive in every step and professional to opposing counsel and the court system. I whole heartedly endorse her and if necessary would use her again.

Billie jo is amazing! Always accountable, caring for her clients needs!! She always responds to call/emails promptly, or gets right back to you as soon as she can. It’s amazing how she is always readily available, as she puts her work first. I highly recommend her and Petrelli Previtera!!

I am rating this firm 1 star because after almost a year and over $30,000 in fees, they offered me nothing but unbelievable charges to revised documents, to say your staff is incompetent to get the documents right the first time, instead I am billed several different time for revisions. Not to mention the numerous billings for emails, if you are to reply "ok and thank you!" You will be billed about $85 each time. This is a clear example why people do not trust lawyers. They are unethical to say the least! If you make six figures a year and want to throw away your money then by all means hire this firm, but if you are a normal guy who is fighting to see his kids the only thing this firm will do for you is bleed you dry. You will be broke before you ever see your kids again. This firm is not made of compassionate people who want to help you. All they care about is billable hours!

If I could rate Ms. Sowinski with 10 stars I would! She was recommended to me by a close friend and from day one I felt my panic and anxiety lifting. There were many complex layers in my divorce case and Ms. Sowinski walked/talked me through every step and part of the process. She fought hard, fairly, and meticulously. She possesses a deep knowledge of domestic case law - backwards and forwards! Not to mention she seemed to always be one step ahead of my ex's attorney. Even the judge we were in front of was clearly very impressed with her; her legal arguments were calm, direct, always tied to case law and delivered with a natural confidence of someone who simply knows they are great at what they do. Aside from the edible arrangement I sent - I don't know how to truly thank her for the best possible outcome she gave to me and my children. Highly recommend.
