Our first session was a consult and he laid things out clearly and had an approach based on good values, the law and helped me understand the range of possibilities. Later we reviewed some mediation "pre-work" I'd done and was a great resource for some pitfalls and cliffs I might experience along with good general sanity check. Now I don't feel so blind nor vulnerable heading into mediation! And if the mediation goes south, I know who'll be getting a call soon after 😉
