Do not fall into trap. He is the worst attorney you can ever encounter in your life. Not only because he is a money hungery attorney ( its very common ). and also not because he would not do any thing to your case other than calculating the minutes to charge you. And also not because he will repond to your calls and emails days or probably weeks after you call him. But because he will screw you with the judje and opposing counsel if things go down between you and him ( that what he did with me ). I know he will respond to my review by denying since he denied other reviews before. Please donot beleive the online reviews, it is all made up. If you decide to hire him after reading my review, please do not pay him a big retainer as he always requires since he knows no one usually pay him after depleting the retainer and he will never refund you a penny if you fire him.

Mr. Katz came through for me at a difficult time, in a big way, and with stellar results. I was served with a banker's box of documents by my ex-wife on Christmas Eve 2023. It was so heavy that the process server apologized to me, that she'd never seen anything like it and felt bad for me. The process server. I was living in New Orleans. My ex and two kids were living in Brooklyn. Our marriage and divorce had been in California, ten years before. My son was 19, my daughter was 17. The papers asked for $500,000 in various forms of support under New York law, and noticed me for an emergency hearing scheduled for about ten days later, January 3. I managed to find an attorney that I liked very much, but he let me know that this was too complicated for him to pursue with the competence required because of arcane, multi-state legal issues. He referred me to Mr. Katz. THANK YOU!! Mr. Katz was extremely busy. If you look at his docket on the court's website, you'll see he handles a lot of cases. But he took the time to hear the facts, look through the papers, ask the needed questions, and get the needed information from me. During the Christmas holiday. Mr. Katz won the emergency motion, and a year and a half later he won the case -- with incredible efficiency, skill, judgment, and tenacity. I myself am a highly educated attorney. i practiced law for nearly thirty years, at times facing and collaborating with some of the best attorneys in the country. I have hired three other attorneys at various times in my life, and I have negotiated and litigated with and against hundreds of attorneys. My respect for Mr. Katz is second to none. I see that there is a review with one star from a client who was not happy with Mr. Katz's "communication skills." I have had attorneys who have spent far more time speaking with me, absolutely. But it cost me tons of money and got nothing done. Tons. For nothing. Mr. Katz was available when I needed him, he communicated everything he needed to tell me, and heard and read everything he needed to hear and read from me.
