I hired John Parker on December 12 to handle a dispute regarding my home with the deceased homeowner’s wife. At our initial meeting, we discussed the next steps, and I paid an $800 advance. His sole task was to send a letter to the homeowner’s wife to encourage cooperation, knowing that I had obtained legal representation. I understood that the holidays could slow progress, but after multiple emails asking if the letter had been sent, I was told it would be sent December 26. As of February 13, I know the letter was never received, as I have been in direct correspondence with the homeowner’s wife about this issue. When I requested copies of all correspondence, Mr. Parker repeatedly promised to call me the next day. He cited being sick with the flu and later computer issues, but the calls never happened. After asking for a refund so I could seek help elsewhere, he ignored my request and again blamed health issues, promising proof of correspondence that has still not been provided. This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, especially for a matter that requires prompt action. I cannot recommend his services based on my experience.
