Jay B. Jackson

I am a realtor in Tennessee, My dad had a church case and this has been ongoing for many years, nothing has been done and he does not work for you, he is buddy buddy with the other attorneys. Do not recommend. My dad will never get his money back and church property and tithes will not be returned.

I have a very complicated case. Jay has been not only responsive for me, but compassionate. He has accommodated our needs even though we have struggled. He has really been supportive to us and gone the extra mile. I feel that others reviewing here simply dont understand law or business. It would be impossible for a lawyer to service everybody at the best of their ability, and also pick up the phone at their will. Thats why you talk to his assistant. I think her name is Alyssa. This girl is a doll! Shes so sweet. Just a pleasant voice to hear and each time I have called she has left my messages and Jay has responded promptly within his abilities. This guy is not a crook. He's busy. But he has been very supportive and understanding for us even though we dont have a lot of money and our case is a big challenge. I would 100% reccomend him. Thanks Jay, and alyssa! Absolutely unresponsive, unprofessional attorney. Has zero interest in your case, does not stay on top of things and seems clueless when he does show up. Doesn't take timely action during his occasional disappearances and will cost you tons of money with lack of effort, knowledge and action. So bad we had to report to the State Bar and Board of Professional responsibility. Avoid this firm, who's reputation was built on the father now basically retired, but avoid this guy at all costs, especially ladies.

We hired Jay Jackson to help us deal with a delinquent tenant. We asked that he write up a letter reqesting the owed balance. We paid him $750.00 on 06/02/2021. I emailed him the address of which we needed the letter to go to. We did not hear anything for 1 month so I decided to call Mitchell & Mitchell to ask for an update, they said he would call me back, never called. I emailed Mr. Jackson on 06/25/2021 for an update..No response. I emailed him again on 07/13/2021 to again ask for an update...he responded on 08/13/2021 and said that he has been swamped in court (which is understandable for any lawyer), but he stated in this email that the letter had already been mailed to the ex-tenant. 3 days later, WE (the landlord) then received the letter that was meant for the tenant at our address? And the letter was postmarked 08/14/2021, so obviously when Mr. Jackson told me the letter had already been sent, it most certainly had not. So we paid $750.00 for no communication, and the letter never even got to the ex-tenant! I emailed him about the incorrect address. He never responded, but his assistant emailed me asking for the correct address of the tenant. I told his assistant that it feels pointless to send the letter now, almost 3 months after the fact. I asked for a refund of my $750.00 & to my surprise AGAIN NO RESPONSE. Very unsatisfied. We have used Jack Mitchell several times in the past and are shocked by Mr. Jacksons level of unprofessionalism on a small case.

I called over 20 attorneys to represent me in a real estate case in which I'm being bullied by a very large real estate agency. They all turned me down because of conflict of interest or didn't want to take on the case because of the influence this agency has. I have a very solid case that is winnable but was going to give up until Mr. Jackson responded to my inquiry. -When asking him about his willingness to fight against this large established local company he told me "that's what I do." -With Mr. Jackson you get an attorney with the local resources and know how that is not scared to ruffle the feathers of the good old boys club if need be. -Anybody reading this who thinks I was turned down by other attorneys because of a weak case and Jackson was just taking my money, not the case. I have several attorney friends who practice in the NW US that assured me I should have no problem if I get this to court.

He will take your money and not even give you anything in writing and he will not file paperwork or review any paperwork or communicate with you. He does get the one star for showing up to court the first time but didn't show for his own motion to withdraw after being fired.

Mr. jackson is a great attorney. Very professional and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions throughout this whole process. Definitely would recommend
