I had a disappointing experience with this lawyer. I paid $500 for a consultation, during which I sent him relevant documents beforehand. However, it was clear he hadn’t reviewed them and had little understanding of my case. Our scheduled call was set for 7:00 AM, but when I called, he was unprepared and there was significant background noise—I suspect he was on a treadmill or something similar. It was only after I mentioned that I couldn’t hear him clearly that he paused his activity. For a student, $500 is a substantial amount, and I expected more professionalism. Unfortunately, he wasted much of the time with interruptions and lengthy monologues, leaving me feeling that my money was completely wasted. Additionally, although he claimed to know Farsi, he did not use a single Persian word during our conversation. Overall, it was an extremely disheartening experience.

Ali was not only extremely responsive/passionate about my case, but represented me in a manner that put things into perspective. Ali was able to not only keep me informed about all of the options that were available to me, but also made sure that I was fully aware of how they may help/hurt my case. What I was most appreciative of what the amount of passion/intensity Ali showed in representing me; despite having only known for me a few days, Ali made me feel as though I was his only client and that my case was extremely important to him.
