ZERO stars - I can't with this office and ACSCA...I have spent more time and money trying to stop a wage garnishment. They won't answer my emails or call me back, and why should they? They are already taking my money. No notices, no papers served, no alerts, no emails. I didn't find out until payday that they were going to take over $600 from each check until they collect over 4 grand. They even took the money my employer assigned to me to purchase office supplies to work from home. Why even work at all. Not even sure who signed off on this order - now I am spending time, money, copy fees, court fees, parking fees to try to clear. I don't see anything on my credit reports for these guys and the address on their "court order" is my address from 22 years ago. I even tried FTC and BBB and all they note is "we stand by our response". Why are these guys not being investigated...and why is my employer sending checks to the Los Angeles Sheriff's department? I am wondering if I should contact a news stations or major network show (20/20, Dateline) to check this stuff out. Anyone else having issues?

Robert J. Colclough never served me with a Subpoena, nor did he mail me any letters.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS OFFICE ZERO STARS BUT I DIDN'T HAVE THAT OPTION AVAILABLE TO ME...HERE IS WHY!!! I highly question the professionalism and ethics of this office working as a Judgment Creditor. Two incidents have taken place, on one they failed to properly file their required documentation with the Superior Court of Santa Clara County (I am the Defendant on this case.) I got notice late April I had a court hearing on May 1st. I appeared to the hearing as noted on the paperwork mailed to me by Mr. Colclough's office. To my surprise I was not even listed on the courts calendar for that day. This office failed to file their paperwork on a timely manner. It took weeks for me to be able to have Santa Clara County release a copy of the courts certified minutes to the Sheriffs Civil Division in LA so I could have my funds held released back to my bank account. The second incident: On July 20th Mr. Colclough's office decides to file an opposition of my Claim of Exemption and fails to notify me that a hearing was going to take place on Sept the 27th. Luckily for me, a week before I received a call from my county asking if I wanted to update my Claim of Exemption. If I had not received that call I would have not know I had a court hearing scheduled and for sure I would probably had lost my case against this Law Office. I'm happy with the outcome, MY JUDGEMENT DEBTORS CLAIM OF EXEMPTION WAS GRANTED TO ME and not to this firm that lacks professionalism and does NOT follow proper guidelines by properly filing documents as required by our court system and NOT serving/notifying us Defendants when there are hearings... We also have rights, please respect them Mr. Colclough and do your job accordingly!!!!
