I can understand why there are relatively few reviews, who wants to admit they filed for bankruptcy? We hit that wall due to some medical bills and a ballooning student loan payment and I was lucky enough to have the Cline Law Group pop up first when I searched for a BK attorney in Oakland. (To be clear, student loans are not dischargeable, but can be assessed during the process.) Jake is incredibly patient, understanding, and kind through all steps of the process. Need a question answered? He'll set up a Zoom call in a couple of days You will not believe the relief you will feel once you get guidance and learn exactly what to do next. We are now in Chapter 13 and making our monthly payments on schedule. We reached out in early January 2025, were advised to wait until after we filed our 2024 taxes so the process didn't start until March and we are now 6 payments in our plan. No more collection notices, no more phone calls, just one easy payment. Highly recommend!

Compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, responsive are some of the few characteristics that come to mind with respect to Jake Cline.
