Take your money elsewhere. My case involved false allegations in an effort to gain custody. My accusers perjured themselves in the trumped-up case they had against me. In the custody case I hired this attorney for, she basically threw her hands up at every turn and gave my opposition everything they wanted. I can't imagine getting a worse representative in court. I'm a 21+ year vet, too, and I lost to a multiple felon who lost custody initially because of drugs. If I could give 0 stars, I would. She fought against me harder than she ever fought for me. But she definitely takes getting her money seriously; more seriously than she took my case...

worst experience I’ve ever had! I had to do ALL of the work, I had to call multiple times a day just to reach her and I’d rarely get a call back. she wanted $3,000 up front (which I understand) but she was worth about - negative 5 cents! she didn’t give me any advice and didn’t seem to give the time a day about me or my case. that’s NOT what you want in a lawyer. then she charged me for all the paperwork after I canned her. I’d love to get my money back from her but I doubt that will happen. I have two aunts that are attorneys/or work for them here in town and they both think I should of wrote the board. And now since… I’ve heard others have bad experiences with her too. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from Wendy McGowan! I went with one from whiting whiting whiting & Haag, and the welcoming I felt right when I walked in, he didn’t get annoyed with my questions or phone calls I had, he was great!!!

If I could give zero stars l, I could. I came back here to see if my initial review was removed, and it was. This is the absolute WORST representation you could pay for. She's more interested in taking your money than fighting for you. She'll absolutely fold to whatever the other side wants, but your paymentshad better be on time.

The absolute worst experience ever! I would not recommend Wendy T McGowan to anyone.
