I actually wouldn’t want to horrify anyone so I won’t go into details of the six years, numerous attorneys admins, and paralegals I was tossed around to because the worst part is that I hired this law firm in 2017 and it’s been years since we settled for way way less than all of my prior attorneys with the same firm told me I could expect, and believe it or not…as shocking as this is, I still have yet to receive all of it! I had a partner promise me he would personally negotiate my medical liens that were pending because, according to him, he was really good at it and he did actually feel bad about everything I had gone through. But guess what… I’m still waiting so apparently they’re collecting interest on my money.

Robin's Cloud has been representing me since 2018. When they took on my case, everything seemed like I had made the right choice. After a few months of completing applications. During late 2019, I received a letter stating they would not be representing my families case. In 2020, I was contacted by someone. I thought they were not representing me. They were unaware of the letter. They later blamed the high turnover as apart of the problem. Over the years, there has been a high turnover. In 2020 I was assured my claim would be expedited by one of the top attorneys. He dropped the ball. During 2021, I was receiving the same open-ended promises and fast talk. In the summer of 2022, I began to speak with Amanda. She seemed nice, but also like someone who could not be trusted. She said, she understood the issues within the firm and things would change since she was there. I received most of my settlement. Even upon receiving my settlement, they held my money and I had to express the urgency in getting my funds. Since then, Amanda has been very short and does not return my calls. I do not call or email often. When I send emails to the group, she responds in a harsh tone, as if she is putting me in check. I was told to put some money aside for my then 16-year-old. I was also advised to allow them to hold an additional $3,000 because they did not know if the judge would agree to it. There has been a delay with the judges decision. My son will be 18 in July. I have asked for the firm to give me the additional $3,000 I have allowed them to hold. Mind you, the other monies have not been placed in his account because they are waiting for the judge. Which is fine. It does not seem to make sense because he will be 18 in a few months. But, the firm had me open an account for the funds to be held there. It was a total waste of time. I called today and the rudest receptionist answered the line. She was not knowledgeable. I would say she is poor representation for this firm, but she blends in very well considering Amanda said things would change after she arrived. It has only worsened. The only bright spot for this firm, is Shawna. If it were not for her, I would have been long gone. At this point it feels like they are holding on to funds that could be released. I had to express an emergency in order to get the first check. I am asking they send me the money that is owed to me and my son immediately. I would not be surprised if I receive a rude response to this review. Amanda has a tendency to come with some sort of reasoning that does not make any sense.
