Cory reviewed our existing trust docs and recommended working with our original attorney to make changes as it would be more cost effective vs redoing it. I called these guys to get an idea what they would charge me for an estate planning which I could outline in just a two or three minute conversation, or an email even, but they want to charge $50 for said "consultation" and their earliest appointment was two weeks out! I had called several other places locally where I spend a few minutes on the phone and they give me a pretty accurate quote. These other law firms are ready to help me start pretty quickly. All that Sebastian could tell me was that it would be between $3000 and $5000. I tried to explain from a consumer standpoint and a potential client’s standpoint to fork over $50 for a few minutes on the phone with the potential they could quote me towards the higher end of the range would be a waste of my time and money. To that he was firm on basically turning me away unless I booked the consultation for $50. I am a small business owner myself and I would never treat a client like this. Can you imagine charging a potential customer $50 to pitch them your service or product and provide them with a quote?!?! If this was my first impression of their firm and this is the way they choose to handle their business from the start how could I trust that the continuing relationship wouldn’t turn into a money grab. Bad business. Buyer beware.

I recently moved to San Marcos and realized that I needed to make some changes to my estate planning after my relocation. I found several very positive reviews of Corey Oliver on Facebook and contacted him for a consultation. After a phone interview, he made an appointment with me. I met him at his office and came carrying a big box of paperwork, complete with many questions and yellow stickies. Corey and I talked for an hour, he answered all of my issues, and told me how the process would progress. Within 2 weeks, he e-mailed me the necessary documents, I had them signed, notarized, and returned to him. I received all of my completed paperwork a week later. Completing the task of making our wills was made easy with the help of Cory Oliver. He explained what needed to be done and why. There were tasks that, when completed, made the finalization of the will easier to understand.
