When considering which attorney to represent me, the following characteristics were of key importance: integrity, honesty and respect for my thoughts and words. My divorce settlement was quite contentious and lingered nearly two years from start to finish. Attorney Bagley remained steady, focused and considerate of my input and thoughts. On many occasions, Attorney Bagley would present our options, ask how I would like to proceed and then listen intently to my explanation. Each time after our conversations, she and I were on the same page. Thank you, Elizabeth, for honoring my desire to walk above reproach through a very difficult process and confidently supporting and encouraging me to finish strong. I couldn't have done it without you. When all was said and done, we finished well.

Attorney Elizabeth Bagley was excellent. She was super easy to work with and was very helpful with all the questions I asked. She was the best, and I would recommend her to anybody!

During my time interacting with Attorney Bagley, I bore witness to her: 1) Adding stipulations to agreements with no prior discussion and then attempting to hurry the signing of them. In addition, she would routinely misquote facts of the case, which were easily provable, in an attempt to twist the discussion in her and her client's favor. I am thankful to have been cognizant enough to have noticed, read, and brought these things up, for I genuinely worry how someone in a similar situation might have been taken advantage of should they have no representation, as I do and did during the deliberations. 2) Due to Google's review policy, I am unable to write the filtered words here to accurately describe the situation at play. Suffice to say, criminal, violent, people who had no legal nor biological relationship to my daughter were allowed placement and time around my daughter, which Attorney Bagley dismissed. 3) Routinely trying to threaten me with further legal action in an attempt to stalwart my ability to see and spend time with my daughter. Nothing ever came of it, however, because the foundations it stood on was not feasible, and it would expose the situation that her client was taking advantage of should I had my time in front of a judge. 4) Stalling deliberations out for ~4 months, despite during that time period me offering multiple different, pain-stakingly crafted placement schedules, attempting to accommodate the other party's schedule(s), and reaching out dozens of times via email and at times direct phone calls, only for her to turn around after said four months and offer exactly what I had detailed to a T, and then some. In addition to that, sometimes it would take week(s) for any response at all, despite again multiple attempts to initiate contact. As of February, it has been over 100 days since I have even seen or heard from my daughter. Attorney Bagley's role in this situation cannot be understated enough. On the one hand, it seems clear that Attorney Bagley is indeed a lawyer who represents their client no matter their wrong-doings, and on that note she should be commended for that is exactly what a lawyer should do. On the other hand, the duplicitousness displayed by her actions during my interactions with her raise valid concerns that call into question the quality and efficacy of her work. If you view other reviews on Google you will be unsurprised to find similar stories from other people. I hope that Attorney Bagley is filled with shame for the manner in which she has conducted herself as counsel in the case I was part of. Shame for the critical developmental time that a father has lost out on with his daughter, shame for how downright deceitful she was at multiple different avenues during deliberations, and shame for enabling the continuation of her client's abuse of my supremely low-income status. I write this review both as a warning to potential future clients and to those who may find themselves pitted against her alone, but also as a reminder for those who may find themselves in a situation similar to myself: arm yourself with knowledge, for it is your only recourse for interacting with the elements of our broken justice system as Attorney Bagley represents - especially, and I stress this, if you are a low-income minority such as myself. The only thing to your benefit in these situations is education, because your lack of knowledge absolutely WILL be weaponized and utilized against you, with little thought to the repercussions or the devastation it will bring to yourself or your family. I'm not religious, but I pray that you find yourself in a better financial situation than the one I reside in.
