I want everyone that reads this review to know about my experience with Ruth Smith attorney-at-law. I became disabled in 2016 and was advised by the Social Security administration to not get an attorney. To save the money and they were there to help me through the process AND that was their job. I believed them. I then went through years of painful and excessive paperwork, denials of benefits and every other nightmare you can visit on a very sick human being. I was losing it at this point. I had no income for two years. I continued to go downhill medically and was worse off than ever before. My situation was desperate. I found my Lawyer Ruth Smith by asking around and finally was directed to her by somebody else that had won their disability case with her help. So here’s how it went for me. Ruth Smith took my case. I did not have to do any more paperwork after our initial meeting. Everything was handled by Ruth Smith and her legal team. Now it took an additional two years to get my disability. And it was just recently that I was approved. The main thing that I can tell anybody reading this review is that it takes time. I’m not sure about anybody else in their length of time it might be faster for other people. But for me it took an additional two years and I hung on by the skin of my teeth most every day. Mentally and physically. I cannot speak highly enough about Ruth Smith and her ability to get the job done. But I will close this review by letting you know that at the beginning of my hearing which was done over the phone due to COVID-19, the judge made it a point to tell my lawyer, Ruth Smith, that he had rarely ever seen such a thorough, clear, and concise brief as the one that she presented to him for me. I won my case because of Ruth Smith. And anyone of you are truly sick or mentally ill and trying to get your SSA, you will win your case with Ruth Smith as your lawyer. Thank you for helping me Ms. Ruth. You have given me the greatest gift of all through your hard work on my behalf. I have hope again and hope is the greatest gift of all!
