I regret ever hiring Knightshead Law Firm. This has been the worst experience of my life. Communication is virtually nonexistent, and they do not seem to have their clients’ best interests at heart. Instead, it feels like you are a bother when you call to get updates about your case because they don’t communicate with you. If you are looking for a lawyer who is responsive, reliable, and truly advocates for you, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere—you will only be disappointed here. UPDATE!!!! Since leaving my honest review, the attorney has repeatedly contacted me—not to take accountability, but to deflect, gaslight, and downplay my experience. Ironically, the most communication I’ve received from him happened after the case was closed and only in response to criticism.

It’s funny—when I was actually a client, getting a response was nearly impossible. I called, emailed, waited… nothing. But the second I left a review? Boom—suddenly he’s full of emails and explanations. Where was all this energy when it mattered? Instead of fixing the issue, he chose to gaslight me and go back and forth trying to protect his ego. If only he communicated this much during the case, we wouldn’t be here. Save yourself the headache.

This is the absolutely worst lawyer I’ve ever dealt with Didn’t get me a single dime after a 8 month long case. The communication is the worst part of it all. I never once talked to Tedrick during the 8 month case I only talked to his secretaries. When you call for him they will tell you he will call u back but this guy will never call u back . I honestly don’t see how he has 5 stars must be his family members leaving reviews.

I really don’t know where to start with this law firm, but our experience was horrible. Every time we called we mainly spoke to his receptionists. He’s never in the office, barely answer his cellphone, and basically wants you to do his job for him. For example: my boyfriend had to figure out a way to get his time sheet or proof of incarceration from TDCJ to be calculated with the time served in Louisiana. Also his parole officer in Texas contacted Tedrick to get info on how long the process will take for time computation (since Texas and Louisiana do things differently) so there won’t be a detainer after my bf turn himself in for time calculation; he the parole officer to call the jail & find out, (which was his job not the PO’s) it was said that it should only take a few days - 2 weeks for the time to be calculated, but apparently that was a lie because my boyfriend has been sitting in jail idle for the past month now with the incorrect release date & Texas time not being calculated too. Anyway, we had to hire a new lawyer to get things done the correct way. The new attorney contacted Tedrick to get information on the situation, and his reply was "I haven’t worked on his case in years" which was a lie; my bf has been going to court since last year and the beginning of this year for this case and recently (as in last month) signed a paper given to him by Tedrick to turn himself in for his time to be calculated. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. Once he gets paid he does half the job only with little to no effort.

This is a great law firm. The people here are absolutely terrific. I’ve been using this law firm for years. If you want your case to go in your favor you should definitely chose Knightshead Law Firm. You won’t be disappointed.
