A few years back i was the victim of a careless driver running a red light. My car was totaled and i sustained major injuries that required surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation. My insurance company gave me a take it or leave offer of half of my car's value despite having submitted documentation to the contrary. I needed transportation so i had to accept their offer.
