We contacted Taren Cabelka about our child who was the victim of medical malpractice at OU children’s hospital. She had a lymph node biopsy to determine whether or not she had lymphoma. The surgeon removed the wrong type of tissue, didn’t run the proper tests, never signed the report and never got in touch with her results. She had to have the procedure done again out of state. Taren said she wanted to take the case and asked for all documentation. Then one day we didn’t hear from her. No response to emails or phone calls. No explanation for no movement forward. Too much time has passed and we cannot do anything at this point. This doctor could have done this to another child. Taren told me she wanted to help because as a mother she couldn’t imagine this happening to her child. I guess that wasn’t true. We are disappointed.

I have dealt with many attorneys for one reason or another over the past 7 years and can honestly say I have never met a more professional, knowledgeable, and PREPARED attorney like Taren! The passion she showed for the job was admirable; she genuinely cared about our needs. Taren Cabelka : I have left messages for Ms Teran for the last couple weeks upon weeks and she will not get back with me her secretary sets up a phone appointment I wait and wait no call, call again and leave messages for her and still no response.
