Mary Castro was so nice and understanding when taking my information regarding filing for Social Security disability. It was not an easy decision to make and she understood that. My medical background has been sporadic due to gains and losses of medical coverage that coincide with jobs that have come and gone, and subsequently income that has fluctuated greatly.That was understood and suggestions were made to improve consistent medical care. The filing process was explained to me in detail, as well as how my legal fees will be paid. I feel like I picked a good firm to represent me.

When I was turned down for my disability claim, I felt overwhelmed and crying uncontrollably. I want to explain my experience in obtaining an attorney through Marc Whitehead and associates. So many people are on the wrong job, and it shows, but this woman found her calling, and if everyone else in the company is at the same level as Mary i am sure I will walk away knowing that this company cared enough to help me. I'm not trying to be over dramatic, but I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2023. There are not a lot of help options for cancer patients, as you might think. I filed for disability in February and had to quit working in May 2023 due to the side effects of chemotherapy. SSDI took 2 years to decide to turn me down. I'm blessed. I have family that pays my rent, but I want to be independent again and pay them back. I had been on depression, anxiety, and sleep medication since my divorce in 2006. Everything exploded mentally when I was diagnosed. I've never been on so many medications for my health reasons. Basically, I want to thank Mary for her kindness and compassion when I was a stranger on the phone. Thank you, Mary.
